Exactly on time.

Professional audio playback for theatre, concerts, broadcast and live productions where speed, confidence and predictability matter.

79Signal Player 1.2 main window with four demonstration cues, stereo waveforms and transport controls

AVAILABLE NOW · 79SIGNAL PLAYER 1.2

Prepare on Mac.
Control from your iPad or iPhone.

Player 1.2 brings adaptive phase correction and a free companion for local playback control.

01 / PREPARE

Compare before saving.

Prepare a correction locally, compare Original with Phase Correct and check the result in mono. Your source audio stays untouched.

02 / CONNECT

Scan. Pair. Take control.

Pair Player Remote using the QR code displayed on your Mac. Follow the cue list, waveform, counters, Notes and meters.

03 / PERFORM

The audio stays on your Mac.

Use GO, Pause, resume, Fade and Stop from the Remote. A disconnected controller does not stop playback on your Mac.

Player 1.2 and the separate free Player Remote are available on the App Store. Live Remote control and phase correction require Standalone mode. Player Lite remains the separate standalone iPad player.

Explore Player Remote

Two tracks.
One confident GO.

A backing track for the audience. A click for the performer. Link two neighbouring cues, keep their outputs separate, and run them together.

01 / LINK

Start together.

Paired tracks start from a shared clock, with coordinated Pause, Stop and Fade. The longer track determines when the pair finishes.

02 / ROUTE

Keep the click separate.

Send one track to MAIN and its partner to BUS1. Disconnect the pair and the secondary track returns to MAIN.

03 / RECALL

Prepare once. Recall the pair.

Track links are saved with the show. A paired waveform view keeps both tracks visible, with a clearer, more compact cue list.

Two linked demo cues with MASTER and PAIR indicators and separate MAIN and BUS1 waveform views
Two linked cues. Separate MAIN and BUS1 outputs. One shared start.

Paired playback requires separate MAIN and BUS1 output pairs on the same audio device.

Phase tools and linked playback require Standalone mode. Linked playback requires distinct output pairs on one audio device; paired looping is not supported. Original audio files are not overwritten.

  1. All features · Up to eight cues free
  2. One-time Full Unlock · Unlimited cues
  3. Existing App Store purchases retained

VERSION 1.2 · ADAPTIVE PHASE CORRECTION

Check the phase.
Hear the difference.

Inspect stereo phase correlation, compare the original and corrected playback, and listen in mono before committing your choice. Your source file stays untouched.

Player 1.2 native phase analysis of the Opening demonstration cue, with Original selected and Phase Correct and Mono Check controls available
ANALYSE. COMPARE. LISTEN.Original is selected here. Compare with Phase Correct and use Mono Check before choosing your playback treatment.

Correlation warnings are not always recording faults. Correction can change the stereo image; compare by ear in stereo and mono. The PHASE percentage describes the original analysis, not a measured improvement.

Not a DAW. Not a media player.
One focused live playback system.

Build a cue list, prepare every transition and run the show from a clear interface designed to keep the operator focused.

LIVE OPERATION

A complete show at a glance.

Keep the cue list, waveform, elapsed and remaining time, transport controls, output routing and notes visible in one workspace.

  • GO, per-cue Pause or Fade, Stop, Loop and All Stop
  • Large elapsed and remaining-time displays
  • Per-cue routing with independent MAIN and BUS1 paths
  • Direct output-device pinning, separate meters and XRUN monitoring
  • Keyboard-ready operation for fast response

NON-DESTRUCTIVE EDITING

Shape the cue.
Keep the source untouched.

Edit playback directly on the waveform without changing the original audio file.

  • Move A and B playback markers precisely
  • Set Fade In and Fade Out for every cue
  • Create and remove multiple mute regions
  • Zoom, scroll and reposition the playhead
  • Overview waveform for fast navigation

SHOW MODE

Lock the edits.
Run the performance.

Show Mode disables accidental editing and leaves the essential playback controls active. The interface becomes a dedicated live-operation surface.

  • Editing controls locked during performance
  • Clear current and next-cue feedback
  • High-visibility transport and status states
  • Fast emergency Mute and All Stop access

Everything needed from preparation to showtime.

Native playback

WAV, AIFF, CAF, MP3, AAC, M4A and FLAC playback without pre-converting source files.

Cue workflow

Drag-to-reorder cues with names, notes, timing, fades, volume, routing and Space-key action stored per cue.

Autosave

Automatic show-state saving and recovery after an unexpected interruption.

Output safety

79Signal Player pins playback directly to the selected device, stops safely on disconnect and never silently falls back to the Mac speakers.

MAIN + BUS1 routing

Route cues through the main output or an independent BUS1 channel pair, with separate meters, test tone and XRUN diagnostics.

BUILT IN

Redundant playback

Synchronized Master and Slave systems with show validation, automatic discovery, live monitoring and Take Over after connection loss.

Bring the show files you already use.

79Signal Player plays common production audio formats directly, so a show can be assembled without a separate conversion step.
